Welcome to Breath is Hope.

You are about to step into a full, twelve-hour day on the streets of one of my favorite places on earth, Eastleigh, Nairobi. This gallery is centered on a very special place, filled with remarkable people, on one specific day, but it’s about all of us, everywhere, at all times. This journey can be experienced several ways; Visually, through the photographs that myself and four other bold and talented up-and-coming artists captured from dawn to dusk; In Written Word through the liturgical poetry you will find next to each photo; and Aurally through audio versions of each liturgy. I would encourage you to immerse yourself in all three. Take you your time, linger in this day we have tried to pause for you. Let these images and words speak to God for you, then connect with your fellow human beings after and become a small community who have shared this day with us and with our Creator. Thank you.
